nemesis=an unconquerable archenemy
onomatopoeia=a word that sounds like its meaning
pastiche=an artwork combining materials from various sources
plethora=a large quantity
ratatouille=a spicy French stew
serendipity=finding something nice while looking for something else
surreptitious=secretive, sneaky
