Rocks on Rocks

After biking across the bridge, we hung out in Sausalito for a bit while waiting for the ferry to take us back to the city.  This guy was our entertainment.  Nope, he is not gluing them together.  Crazy, eh?

Bikes over the Bridge

I never tire of seeing Golden Gate Bridge in all its glory.  Last weekend I got to bike across it for the first time.  It was the most beautiful day and I was with the greatest companion.  There were dolphins splashing below and surfers catching some waves directly underneath.  Such a cool experience.

Lucky Lucky Lavender

I arrived in San Francisco today, and the nice girl I sat next to on the plane was wearing the most excitingly pretty nail polish, OPI's Lucky Lucky Lavender.  It's part of their Spring 2010 Hong Kong Collection & I can't wait to get a bottle of my own!

Perfect Date(s)

Is there anything better than a perfect date? This morning I jumpstarted my Thursday with a BFF coffee date. No matter how long or short it has been since last seeing each other, we always have so much to catch up on. We just chatted ourselves silly.  A great way to start the day and completely worth an earlier alarm clock time. I love coffee. I love the fresh morning air. And I love her. It's the trifecta of a perfect date.

We didn't take a picture of ourselves this morning, that would have been rather silly. New Year's in New York last year was pretty perfect too, so this picture is fitting enough.

18+ years together. I think it's a pretty promising relationship. *smiles*

Pots & Pans

I have become a bit of a house hunter (yippy!) the last few weeks.  I am having such a blast with it, and there are so many fun places to live out there.  One thing that seems inevitable is that the kitchen in the house-of-choice will be somewhat small.  Fine with me though, as I intend to utilize some hooks, racks, walls, and ceilings to do some proper hanging of the pots and pans.  Such as these people did:

Who knew pots & pans (and even a spatula) could have so much character.
Hopefully I have a photo of my own hanging pot rack soon!
